Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fastener access cover (1).
  2. Remove the bolt (2) retaining the applique to the roof.
  3. Place the tape along the lower end of the applique in order to protect the painted surfaces.
  4. Lift the front of the applique (3) in order to visually see the snap-in fasteners.
  5. Starting from the front, working rearward, insert a long flat-bladed tool between the applique and the fastener and twist the tool in order to release the 4 fasteners.
  6. Remove the applique (3).
  7. Inspect the applique and snap-in fasteners for damage.
