Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the fuel tank shield, if equipped. Refer to Fuel Tank Shield Replacement (TrailBlazer, Envoy) or Fuel Tank Shield Replacement (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) in Frame and Underbody.
  3. Fig 1: View Of Transfer Case Fill Plug

  4. Remove the fill plug.
  5. Fig 2: View Of Transfer Case Drain Plug

  6. Remove the drain plug.
