Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Lower the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) , Headliner Replacement (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) or Headliner Replacement (Envoy XUV) in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the tie strap that retains the white connector to the drive cable tube sunroof motor wiring harness.

  4. Disconnect the sunroof motor/actuator wiring harness electrical connector.
  5. Remove the screws (1) which retain the sunroof motor/actuator (2) to the sunroof module assembly.
  6. Remove the sunroof motor/actuator (2) from the sunroof module assembly.
