Installation Procedure

  1. Install the moveable roof wiring harness to the roof module.
  2. Carefully lift up the moveable roof front beam panel until the moveable roof assembly connectors can be inserted under the front beam assembly.
  3. Install the retainers securing the moveable roof connector to the front beam assembly.
  4. Connect the electrical connectors to the moveable roof motor/actuator (2), the moveable roof control module (1), and the moveable roof assembly (3).
  5. Install the lock pillar upper tie bar trim panel. Refer to Trim Cover Replacement - Body Lock Pillar Upper Tie Bar - Cargo (Envoy XUV) in Interior Trim.
  6. Install the moveable roof actuator cover. Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Actuator Cover Replacement .
  7. Install the moveable roof panel Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Assembly Replacement .
