Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 2:  This test verifies if the vehicle's Starting/Charging system is functioning properly.
  2. 3:  This test verifies if the power roof module is functioning properly.
DTC B1325 and B1335 Diagnostic Test

1 Did you perform the Power Roof Diagnostic System Check? - Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Power Roof 
Verify that the vehicle's Starting/Charging system is operating properly.
Is the Starting/Charging system operating properly?
- Go to Step 3  Go to Symptoms - Engine Electrical
  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. With a scan tool, observe the Battery 1 and Battery 2 parameters in the power roof module data list.
Does the scan tool indicate that the Battery 1 and the Battery 2 parameters are within the specified range?
8.5-16.3 V Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems Go to Step 4 
4 Inspect for poor connections at the harness connectors of the power roof module. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.
Did you find and correct the condition?
- Go to Step 6  Go to Step 5

  1. Perform the power roof relearn procedure. Refer to Power Roof Relearn .
  2. Replace the power roof module. Refer to Moveable Roof Panel Control Module Replacement .
Did you complete the replacement?
- Go to Step 6  -

  1. Use the scan tool in order to clear the DTCs.
  2. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC as specified in the supporting text.
Does the DTC reset?
- Go to Step 2  System OK
