2	Using an external vacuum source, apply vacuum to the coolant by pass valve assembly. Does the valve open and close?	Go to Step 5	Go to Coolant Bypass Valve Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
3	With the coolant by-pass valve removed, inspect the valve for binding. Does the valve move freely?	Go to Step 5	Go to Step 4
