Removal Procedure

  1. Disengage the wiper arm cover (1) by lifting outward at the location (2) at the underside of the wiper arm cover.

  3. Remove the nut (4) retaining the wiper arm to the motor shaft.
  4. Remove the wiper arm from the wiper motor pivot shaft (5).
  5. Disconnect the rear washer hose (6).
  6. Clean the wiper arm pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush.

  8. Remove the wiper arm blade (1) from the wiper arm (2), if necessary. Refer to Wiper Arm Blade Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer, Envoy)  or Wiper Arm Blade Replacement - Rear (XUV) .
