Removal Procedure

- Disengage the wiper arm cover (1) by lifting outward at the location (2) at the underside of the wiper arm cover.
- Remove the nut (4) retaining the wiper arm to the motor shaft.
- Remove the wiper arm from the wiper motor pivot shaft (5).
- Disconnect the rear washer hose (6).
- Clean the wiper arm pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush.
- Remove the wiper arm blade (1) from the wiper arm (2), if necessary. Refer to Wiper Arm Blade Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer, Envoy) or Wiper Arm Blade Replacement - Rear (XUV) .
