Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the rear wiper hose elbow connection (4) at the liftgate outer panel.
  2. Remove the liftgate interior trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) in Interior Trim.

  4. Remove the washer hose and grommet from the liftgate outer panel.
  5. Remove the liftgate wiring harness from the liftgate. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Liftgate in Body Rear End.
  6. Cut the rear washer hose ends where the hose ends break out of the harness and discard.
