Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Route the rear washer hose along the wiring harness.
  2. Tape the rear washer hose to the wiring harness with 3 wraps of electrical tape at points no more than 100 mm (4 in) apart from each other.
  3. Install the liftgate wiring harness to the liftgate. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Liftgate in Body Rear End.

  5. Position the rear washer hose and grommet to the liftgate outer panel.
  6. Install the liftgate interior trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) in Interior Trim.

  8. Connect the rear wiper hose connection (4) at the liftgate outer panel.
