Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the theft deterrent alarm (3).
  3. Remove the theft deterrent alarm mounting nut (1) from the crossmember support (2).
  4. Remove the theft deterrent alarm (3) from the crossmember support (2).
