Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) Description and Operation: Inputs

The BCM monitors directly or serial data communication the following inputs:
- Driver and passenger door ajar switches from the DDM and PDM through the serial data circuit to the BCM
- Driver and passenger rear door ajar switches
- Driver and passenger power door lock/unlock switches from the serial data circuit from driver or passenger door module
- Rear compartment ajar switch through the serial data circuit from the liftgate module
- Transmitter LOCK/UNLOCK buttons (internal function of the LGM)
- Passlock™ Status (the BCM uses the Passlock™ status for disarming the system or silencing and alarm when the correct key is used)
