Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the run channels to the endgate.

  2. Loosely install the screws retaining the run channels to the endgate.
  3. Install the window. Refer to Window Replacement - Endgate .
  4. Lower the window down fully into the endgate.
    5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Finish tightening the screws retaining the run channels to the endgate.

    Tighten:  Tighten the run channel screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the inner reinforcement panel. Refer to Reinforcement Inner Panel Replacement - Endgate .
  7. Install the endgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Endgate (Envoy XUV) .
