Adjustment Procedure

- Open the midgate.
- Loosen the midgate window run channel retaining screws. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Midgate .
- Close the midgate.
- Lower the midgate window out of the midgate weatherstrip.
- Remove the midgate window regulator adjustment covers (2) from the midgate inner panel.
- Loosen the lower regulator attachment nuts (3).
- Adjust the fore/aft position of the midgate window by turning the adjustment screws (1).
- To move the top edge of window rearward, turn the adjustment screws clockwise.
- To move the top edge of the window forward, turn the adjustment screws counterclockwise.
- Each revolution of the adjustment screw moves the top edge of the window 0.5 mm (0.02 in) forward or rearward.
- Maximum adjustment is 6 revolutions in either direction.
- Tighten the lower regulator attachment nuts (3).
Tighten: Tighten the regulator attachment nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Tighten the midgate window run channel retaining screws. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Midgate .
- Install the midgate window regulator adjustment covers (2) to the midgate inner panel.
