Adjustment Procedure

  1. Lower the endgate window to the full down position.
  2. Swing the endgate open.
  3. Remove the endgate window sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Endgate Window - Outer .
  4. Adjust the up/down position of the endgate window by turning the adjustment screws (1).

    • To lower the top edge of the window, turn the adjustment screws clockwise.
    • To raise the top edge of the window, turn the adjustment screws counterclockwise.
    • Each adjustment screw must be adjusted equally, with respect to each other, within 4 mm (0.6 in).
    • Each revolution of the adjustment screw moves the top edge of the window 1.25 mm (0.05 in) forward or rearward.
  5. Install the endgate window sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Endgate Window - Outer .
  6. Perform endgate window relearn cycle. Refer to Window Learn Cycle - Endgate .
  7. Inspect the index position of the endgate glass. A 5 mm (0.20 in) rod must not be able to pass between the rear header seal and the endgate window.
