Adjustment Procedure

  1. Swing the endgate open.
  2. Loosen the screws retaining the endgate window run channels. Refer to Window Run Channels Replacement - Endgate Lower .
  3. Remove the regulator adjustment covers (3) from the endgate.

  4. Loosen the lower regulator attachment nuts (2).
  5. Adjust the fore/aft position of the endgate window by turning the adjustment screw (1).
    • To move the top edge of the window rearward, turn the adjustment screws clockwise.
    • To move the top edge of the window forward, turn the adjustment screws counterclockwise.
    • Each adjustment screw must be adjusted equally.
    • Each revolution of the adjustment screw moves the top edge of the window 1.5 mm (0.06 in) forward or rearward.
    • Maximum adjustment is 5 revolutions in either direction.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Tighten the lower regulator attachment nuts (2). Ensure the adjustment screw does not turn.

    Tighten:  Tighten the regulator attachment nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  8. Tighten the screws retaining the endgate window run channels. Refer to Window Run Channels Replacement - Endgate Lower .
  9. Install the regulator adjustment covers (3) to the endgate.
