Installation Procedure

  1. Align the tab (1) on the endgate body side wedge to the slot in the body.
  2. Press the body side wedge assembly onto the body.
  3. Install the screw retaining the body side wedge to the body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw only until the wedge does not rock, but will still slide fore and aft.

  4. Slide the wedge (2) fully rearward.
  5. Close the endgate to set the wedge to the correct position.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Open the endgate and secure the body side wedge to the body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the body side wedge screw to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
