Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Panel Replacement - Inner .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the midgate latch release switch.
  3. Depress the retaining tabs (2) on the latch release switch to release the switch from the inner trim panel.
  4. Remove the latch release switch from the midgate inner panel.
