Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lower striker (2) and shim, if equipped, to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts (3) retaining the lower striker to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the lower striker bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Close the endgate.
