Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the midgate assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Midgate Replacement .
  2. Place the midgate assembly on a clean surface.
  3. Remove the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Panel Replacement - Inner .
  4. Remove the midgate window sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Midgate Window Outer .
  5. Remove the midgate window. Refer to Window Replacement - Midgate .
  6. Remove the midgate window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Midgate .
  7. Remove the midgate window run channels. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Midgate .
  8. Remove the midgate sliding hinge filler panel. Refer to Hinge Filler Panel Replacement - Midgate Sliding .

  10. Remove the nuts retaining the midgate outer panel to the midgate structure.
  11. Remove the midgate outer panel from the midgate.
