Installation Procedure

  1. Install the hinge to the endgate.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts retaining the hinge to the endgate.

    Tighten: 

    1. Tighten the lower forward bolt (2) to 25 N.m (18.4 lb ft).
    2. Tighten the lower rear bolt (1) to 25 N.m (18.4 lb ft),

  3. Install the endgate to the vehicle. Refer to Endgate Replacement .
