Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the overhead console. Refer to Console Replacement - Overhead (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Console Replacement - Overhead (Envoy XUV) in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the garage door opener (3).
  3. Remove the 3 retaining screws from the garage door opener.
  4. Remove the garage door opener from the overhead console.
  5. Remove the button assembly from the overhead console.
