Installation Procedure

  1. Install the button assembly to the overhead console.
  2. Install the garage door opener to the overhead console. Fully recess the light indicator into the opening (1).

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the 3 retaining screws to the garage door opener.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 0.8 N.m (7 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector to the garage door opener (3).
  6. Install the overhead console. Refer to Console Replacement - Overhead (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Console Replacement - Overhead (Envoy XUV) in Interior Trim.
