Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L.
  2. Gently pry up the rubber covers.
  3. Disconnect the knock sensor electrical connectors.

  5. Remove the knock sensors.
