Installation Procedure

  1. Uncap the fuel fill pipe (9).
  2. Install the fuel fill pipe (7).
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Connect the fuel fill hose (9) to the fuel fill pipe (7).

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  5. Install the fuel fill pipe ground strap bolt (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Lower the vehicle.

  8. Install the fuel fill pipe bracket nuts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  10. Install the fuel fill pipe housing.
  11. Install the fuel fill cap.
