Installation Procedure

  1. Install the insulator (1) on the EVAP canister purge solenoid (3).
  2. Install the EVAP canister purge solenoid (3).
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the EVAP canister purge solenoid bolt (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10.5 N.m (93 lb in).

  5. Connect the EVAP purge solenoid electrical connector (1).

  7. Connect the EVAP pipe to the EVAP purge solenoid.
