Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner element. Refer to Air Cleaner Element Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: Top Of Engine View

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor (1).
  4. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (2) on the air cleaner side of the air cleaner outlet resonator (3).
  5. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.
  6. If replacing the air cleaner outlet duct, remove the IAT sensor. Refer to Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Replacement .
