Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the cargo shade/cover.

  2. Remove the left body side upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) .
  3. Remove the liftgate sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate .
  4. Remove the left rear door sill panel. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada)  or Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL, Envoy XUV) .
  5. Remove the lower seat belt anchor bolt.
  6. Release the clips that retain the trim panel to the body.
  7. Remove the trim panel from the vehicle.
