Removal Procedure

- Remove the cargo shelf.
- Tumble the third row seats to the cargo position.
- Remove the left body side window rear garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Window - Rear (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) .
- Remove the left body side window forward garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Window - Front (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) .
- Remove the lift gate sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate .
- Remove the left rear door sill panel. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL, Envoy XUV) .
- Remove the lower seat belt anchor bolt.
- Release the five screws that retain the rear quarter trim panel to the body.
- Remove the rear quarter trim panel from the vehicle.
