Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cargo mat. Refer to Cargo Mat Replacement (Envoy XUV) in Body Rear End.
  2. Remove the body lock pillar upper tie bar trim cover. Refer to Trim Cover Replacement - Body Lock Pillar Upper Tie Bar - Cargo (Envoy XUV) .
  3. Remove the rear floor front trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Rear Floor - Front .

  5. Remove the cargo tie down loops and the cargo tie down blanks.
  6. Remove the cargo lamp. Refer to Cargo Lamp Replacement (Envoy XUV) in Lighting Systems.
  7. Remove the endgate window emergency switch, if equipped. Refer to Switch Replacement - Endgate Window Interior Emergency in Body Rear End.

  9. Remove the auxiliary power outlet from the trim panel, if equipped. Refer to Accessory Power Receptacle Replacement - 12 Volt in Power Outlets.
  10. Remove the body side trim panel from the vehicle.
