Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Fold the midgate to the down position.

  2. Install the alignment tabs in the holes of the upper lock pillar trim panel.
  3. Install the trim panel retaining clips to the lock pillar by pressing firmly.
  4. Install the rear door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada)  or Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL, Envoy XUV) .
  5. Install the jack stowage cover. Refer to Cover Replacement - Jack Stowage (Envoy XUV) .
  6. Install the rear floor trim cover. Refer to Trim Cover Replacement - Rear Floor Trim Panel .
