Removal Procedure

  1. If removing the right sill plate, remove the right insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right .

  3. Starting at the rear of the sill plate, use a flat-bladed tool in order to release the 5 retaining tabs.
  4. If removing the left sill plate, remove the sill plate from the hood release handle.
  5. Remove the sill plate from the door frame.
  6. Remove any retaining tabs that remain attached to the door frame.
