Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Securely attach the mechanics wire already routed behind the I/P to the end of the coaxial cable (3).
  2. If equipped, carefully remove the rose bud (1) from the coaxial cable.
  3. Grasp and gently pull the mechanics wire through the cowl insulator, routing the coaxial cable behind the I/P.
  4. Attach the lower rose bud (2) to the cowl.

  6. Connect the coaxial cable to the digital radio receiver.
  7. Attach the coaxial cable to the right windshield pillar (1).
  8. Install the right front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Front in Interior Trim.
  9. Install the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  10. Connect the electrical connectors to the digital radio antenna assembly. Refer to Antenna Replacement - Digital Radio .
  11. Install the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) , Headliner Replacement (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) or Headliner Replacement (Envoy XUV) in Interior Trim.
  12. Install the right sunshade and inboard retaining clip. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
  13. Install the I/P trim pad. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  14. Install the right windshield garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar in Interior Trim.
