Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Partially install the amplifier to connect the electrical connectors.
  2. Install the amplifier to the body.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the screws retaining the amplifier to the body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

  4. Install the screws retaining the amplifier cover to the body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  5. Install the left body side trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Body Side (Envoy XUV) in Interior Trim.
