- Right or left audio signal (+) open or shorted to battery positive voltage. Test the appropriate right or left audio signal (+) for an open or a short to battery positive voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing andWiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
- Audio common signal open or shorted to battery positive voltage. Test the audio common signal for an open or a short to battery positive voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
- Audio output of the radio to the Non-Class 2 Amplifier open, short to ground or short to battery positive voltage. Test the audio outputs of the radio for an open, short to ground or short to battery positive voltage. Refer toCircuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
- Audio output of the DVD player. Disconnect the DVD player, if the distortion is eliminated, replace the DVD player. Refer to Video Display Replacement .
- Audio output of the Digital Radio Receiver. Disconnect the DRR, if the distortion is eliminated, replace the DRR. Refer to Receiver Replacement - Digital Radio .
