Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left .
  2. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Knee Bolster .
  3. Fig 1: Removing/Installing Trim Plate - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory Left

  4. Remove the 2 headlamp trim plate retaining nuts.
  5. Use a plastic flat bladed tool in order to release the retaining clips.
  6. Remove the headlamp trim plate from the instrument panel (IP).
