Installation Procedure

  1. Install the knee bolster to the steering column support bracket.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the 4 knee bolster retaining nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

  4. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Knee Bolster .
  5. Install the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left .
