Installation Procedure

  1. If necessary, install the traction control switch and wiring harness to the bezel. Refer to Traction Control Switch Replacement (GMC, Chevrolet) or Traction Control Switch Replacement (Oldsmobile, Buick) in Antilock Brake System.
  2. Position the trim plate to the console.

  4. Install the bezel to the console ensuring the retaining clips are fully seated.
  5. Install the floor shift control boot to the floor console. Refer to Floor Shift Control Knob Replacement in Automatic Transmission.
  6. Install the console storage bin. Refer to Console Storage Bin Replacement .
  7. Position the shift lever in the PARK position.
  8. Remove the wheels blocks from the vehicle.
