Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

If necessary, install the traction control switch and wiring harness to the bezel. Refer to Traction Control Switch Replacement (GMC, Chevrolet) or Traction Control Switch Replacement (Oldsmobile, Buick) in Antilock Brake System.
Position the trim plate to the console.

Install the bezel to the console ensuring the retaining clips are fully seated.
Install the floor shift control boot to the floor console. Refer to Floor Shift Control Knob Replacement in Automatic Transmission.
Install the console storage bin. Refer to Console Storage Bin Replacement .
Position the shift lever in the PARK position.
Remove the wheels blocks from the vehicle.
