Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Position the insulator panel to the I/P.
  2. Install the hazard and turn signal flasher to the insulator panel. Refer to Hazard and Turn Signal Flasher Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  3. Install the splice pack to the insulator panel.
  4. Position the DLC to the insulator panel.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the DLC retaining screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the DLC retaining screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  8. Install the insulator panel tabs to the cowl slots.

  10. Raise the insulator panel to the I/P.
  11. Install the insulator panel retaining clip to the I/P substrate.
  12. Install the 2 screws that retain the insulator panel to the I/P.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
