Removal & Installation (Except Aztek)

NOTE:

- Remove master cylinder. See MASTER CYLINDER . Ensure no brake fluid contacts ABS control unit or related electrical connectors and wiring.
- Disconnect vacuum hose from booster. Disconnect booster push rod from brake pedal. Remove booster mounting nuts from inside vehicle. Remove booster and gasket.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. On Savana and Express, tighten booster retaining nuts to specification in a cross pattern using following procedure. Tighten right lower, left upper, left lower and then right upper retaining nut. Bleed brake system if lines were disconnected from master cylinder.
