Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer toSIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disable SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 and to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 in SIR.
  2. IMPORTANT: Before removing the seat, ensure that the following conditions are met:
    • For power seats, verify that the seat bottom is fully down.
    • The seat back is in the full upright position.
    • The upper and lower seat rails are flush at rear.
  3. Remove the seat mounting fastener covers.

  5. Remove the 3 front seat mounting nuts.
  6. Remove the front seat mounting bolt.
  7. Disconnect the electrical harness. Unclip the harness from the seat bracket.
  8. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
  9. Place the seat on a clean, prepared surface.
