Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the pad on the seat back frame.
  2. Fit the seat back cover over the top of the seat back frame and pad.

  4. Install the head restraint guides by pushing them through the cover into the frame until the locking tabs snap into place. The guide with the locking tab (1) installs on the right hand side of the seat.

  6. Install the hog rings (1) to the cover and pad.
  7. Pull the seat back cover down over the pad pressing the hook and loop fastener strips (2) together.

  9. Install the seat back cover flap to the pad with the hog rings (2).
  10. Install the J-strips (1) across the bottom of the seat back cover.

  12. Install the J-strip (1) to the seat adjuster cross bar (2).

  14. Install the screws (3) securing the extension panel (1) to the seat back.
  15. Install the extension panel hinge trim (2).
  16. Install the head restraint assembly. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Rear Seat .
