Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front bucket seat assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
  2. Remove the seat cushion trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the lumbar support cable from the seat adjuster. Refer to Lumbar Support Cable Replacement .
  4. Fig 1: Locating SIR Harness

  5. Remove the SIR harness connector (1) from the seat adjuster bracket.
  6. Remove the SIR harness from the harness clips (2) and remove the SIR harness from the seat adjuster.
  7. Remove the seat back from the seat adjuster. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Front .

  9. Remove the seat belt buckle nut (1).

  11. Remove the 4 nuts that secure the seat pan to the power seat adjuster frame.
  12. Remove the seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Front .
