Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the 4 nuts that secure the seat pan to the power seat adjuster frame.

    Tighten:  Tighten the seat pan mounting nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  2. Install the seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Front .

  4. Install the SIR harness to the harness clips (2) on the seat adjuster.
  5. Install the SIR harness connector (1) to the seat adjuster bracket.

  7. Install the seat belt buckle to the seat adjuster.

    Tighten:  Tighten the seat belt buckle nut to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).

  8. Install the lumbar support cable to the seat adjuster. Refer to Lumbar Support Cable Replacement .
  9. Install the seat cushion trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  10. Install the front bucket seat assembly to the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
