Removal Procedure

  1. Carefully move the outside rear view mirror (ORVM) assembly forward in order to gain access to the lens retaining screw (1) located underneath the assembly, near the pivot point.
  2. Remove the lens retaining screw.
  3. Remove the lens from the ORVM assembly.

  5. Remove the socket and the lamp from the lens by turning the socket counterclockwise.
  6. If replacing the bulb, remove the bulb from the socket.
