Valve Lifter Installation

- Dip the valve lifters in prelube GM P/N United States 12345501, GM P/N Canada 992704 or the equivalent.
- Install the valve lifters.
- Install the valve lifter guides.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the valve lifter guide bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the valve lifter guide bolts to 30 N.m (22 Ib. ft).
