Removal & Installation

- Disconnect the batteries. Remove the duct between the air cleaner and the turbocharger inlet housing. Remove the clamp from the PCV hose to pipe and move the hose aside. Remove the fuel filler cap to relieve pressure. Remove the large tie wraps from the fuel injector control module and harness.
- Loosen the fuel lines at the fuel injection control module. Remove the 3 mounting bolts. Remove the insulators between the fuel injection control module and bracket by lifting up the module and reaching underneath. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the fuel injection control module.
- Disconnect the fuel lines at the fuel injection control module and discard washers. Remove the fuel injection control module from the bracket. See Fig 1.
- Use NEW washers on fuel lines. Do not knock off the insulators when installing the fuel injector control module to the bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure.
