Removal & Installation (Federal)

  1. Turn OFF the ignition. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Disconnect the electrical connector from the boost pressure sensor. See Fig 1. Remove the nut retaining the boost pressure sensor bracket and the coolant tube. Lift the coolant tube off of the stud and move it out of the way. Remove the boost pressure sensor and the bracket from the intake manifold. Remove the bracket from the sensor.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Inspect the boost pressure sensor seal for damage and replace as necessary.
