Removal & Installation (Calif.)

  1. Turn OFF the ignition. Loosen the outlet duct clamp at the upper intake manifold cover. Remove he upper intake manifold cover from the outlet duct. Remove the upper intake manifold cover. Disconnect the electrical connector from the boost pressure sensor. See Fig 1. Remove the bolt retaining the boost pressure sensor bracket. Disconnect the vacuum line from the sensor. Remove the boost pressure sensor and the bracket. Remove the bracket from the sensor.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Inspect the boost pressure sensor seal for damage and replace as necessary.
