Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper instrument panel (IP) assembly. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the lower air distribution duct. Refer to Air Distribution Duct Replacement .

  4. Remove the three defroster duct tabs (1) from the brackets.
  5. Remove the defroster duct (2) from the HVAC module.
