Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim plate (3) from the instrument panel (IP).
  2. Remove the 2 screws (1) and the deflector (2) from the trim plate.
  3. Remove the upper instrument panel (IP) assembly. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

  5. Remove the 4 screws (1) from the air outlet duct (2).
  6. Remove the air outlet duct.
  7. Remove the 2 screws (3) from the air deflector assembly (4).
  8. Remove the air deflector assembly (4) from the upper IP (5).
